Tech Northern Ireland Advocates is a private sector led coalition of expert individuals from the tech sector and broader community who will be committed to championing the Northern Ireland's potential as a world-class hub for tech and digital businesses. It will strive to support Northern Ireland's tech start-ups and high-growth businesses in finding new investment, new talent and continued success. The group will consist of technology entrepreneurs, established digital giants, journalists, government figures and vital suppliers to our industry. The group also has Overseas Advocates from 20 countries and territories across the world which include Tech London Advocates, Tech Nordic Advocates, Tech China Advocates, Tech India Advocates to name but a few. We want to bring Big and Small Tech companies together to solve the challenges we face in the Tech ecosystem in NI.

HOW TO BECOME AN ADVOCATE
Advocates are founders, investors and global tech leaders, but Advocates are also those on the frontline of tech – students, coders, policymakers, teachers and service providers.
There is no time commitment or minimum engagement required to being an Advocate; it is designed for busy people and you can engage with the group as much or as little as you like. There are, however, three asks of each Advocate, irrespective of their level of engagement:
– To share key messages about the tech sector in Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK
– When ready, help expand the Tech Northern Ireland Advocates network by introducing an Advocate
– Adopt the ethos of helping one another for the ‘greater good’ as a means of establishing a strong and vibrant technology sector
